It's the final meetup of the year so we thought it would a great opportunity to bring back the open discussion format for a more laid-back event.
2023 has not been an easy one for a lot of people in tech. After years of market growth, a lot of people in our community are confronted for the first time with a lack of job opportunities, uncertainty and layoffs. At the same time, more people are starting to wonder if their skills are good enough for the market demands of 2024 and beyond.
So let's conclude the year with an open and honest talk about career development. We will discuss about what it means to own your career path or what it takes to be best prepared for uncertain times. We'll share our different approaches in learning and development and we will explore career choices, developing lateral skills, and many more. Join us!
As a reminder, the open talk format is not prescriptive in any way. We decide on the spot where the conversation goes and what are the most important things we want to talk about. Everyone is welcome to contribute, but you don't have to actively participate in the conversation.
